This 15 quart pot is versatile and perfect for braising large cuts of meat, stewing, cooking large meals or reducing big batches of stock. The pot is heavy and sturdy with a thermal diffuser insert on the bottom and has a heavy lid that fits perfectly. It works well on both gas stove or in oven. Although, the lid doesn't fit snuggly, so Constant monitoring of the contents is required for proper liquid level. It is important to note that the pot is BIG, bigger than any burner on a stove, so may not be suitable for those who aren't familiar with big pans. Overall, it is Considered a great pot for the price and exceeds expectations.
