The Hipshot Ultralite Clover Tuner is a great addition to any bass guitar. According to a customer, these tuners are found on many US-built Laklands and are built to the same specifications as the Hipshot Licensed Ultralite tuners, which are found on all Skyline series basses. It's a bit disappointing that they are sold individually, so customers may need to purchase four for a full set. A customer with a vintage Squire Jazz Bass mentioned that they had to drill a small pilot hole for the single screw because the maple on their Jazz Bass was too hard to screw directly into. Another customer asked if these tuners were reversible, to which the answer was yes, but it requires some manual dexterity. Overall, the customers seem to be satisfied with the Hipshot Ultralite Clover Tuner, with no complaints about its functionality or durability.
