Answer: The cooktop rings on my unit do not fade in and out. It cleans up beautifully and does not have burned carbon on the glass. -

Answer: No, currently there are only induction or gas cooktops available. -

What are the air requirements of the unit? Can it be installed below a 6" drawer?
Answer: You will need about 1-2 inches of ventilation space for the unit. -

Answer: Mine came with a rubber conduit. Just had to install the plug.
