Question:
Can the alarm be purchased without the float?
Answer: Even though I did not need it, I got it with my order. It still sits in my work shop for the day the old one goes wonky. -
Question:
How is the unit powered?
Answer: Just 120 volt, a hot, a neutral, and a ground are needed, three wires. -

Can the alarm be used with a sensor other than the float?
Answer: I doubt it. the sensor seemed to be encased in plastic. -

Does it have backup battery and if yes is it rechargeable?
Answer: The 10-0623 does not come with a back-up battery. -
Question:
I need an alarm for my underground water reservoir to indicate low water level.
Answer: I believe this unit is designed to trigger an alarm when water is too high. It may be possible to set the float up to trigger the alarm when the water level drops below a desired point. However, not sure of how to accomplish this. -
Question:
Can the alarm (10-0623 model) be replaced as mine is bad?
Answer: It sure can, if it is bad it can be replaced! -
Question:
Does this unit have a 5 wire plastic connector plug clip that goes from the control head (bell and reset switch unit) to the power block?
Answer: The unit I received plugged into 110-volt outlet, if that helps. -

Looking for a similar model, but with a sensor light alarm instead of a sound alarm. Any recommendations?
Answer: This model has both a sensor light and alarm sound. Also has an auto reset.
Zoeller Water Detectors & Alarms 10-0623 Editorial Review
The Zoeller 10-0623 A-Pak IndoorOutdoor Alarm System is a popular replacement unit for pump grinder, sewage pump or evacuator pump pits/sewers. The unit does not come with a back-up battery and requires a separate 3 wire cable to be powered. Consumers are advised to use different circuits for both the alarm unit and pump. A screw terminal block is used to connect the power cord and sensor. The unit has both an alarm sound and a sensor light and auto reset. Generally, Consumers feel satisfied with their purchase once they receive the correct itemif they receive the correct item. Some wished for the ability to turn off the alarm sound and only activate the light. Overall, the unit seems to work as advertised.
