Dirty Rigger Multitools DTY-MULTITOOL Editorial Review
The clamp/plier multitool is an excellent and necessary tool for anyone working in the entertainment industry. With its versatile capabilities, it can replace several other tools and attachments, making it an ideal tool for any "jack of all trades". It is especially handy for an Entertainment Rigger/Climber who has to handle various truss accessories on show sites. However, some users found the tool to be not very ergonomic, and the extended metal bit can sometimes interfere with turning. Others have also reported that the metal chips quickly and may not last very long. A few users commented that the tool could use a slightly longer handle for additional leverage. Moreover, it appears to be better for stage work than movie rigging. Despite these minor flaws, this tool is an excellent game-changer, and many customers have found it very helpful to have on them at all times. It is perfect for those who work in lighting or those who need to do electric and A/V video utility.
