Artistic Wire Wire AW1-18-24-1/4# Editorial Review
The Artistic Wire 24-Gauge in Antique Brass has garnered a largely positive reception among jewelry makers and craft enthusiasts. Users appreciate the robust nature of the wire, which they find is particularly suitable for creating eyepins and other jewelry findings. The wire's strength is highlighted, especially in comparison to other softer and less durable wires, making it an appealing choice for heavier jewelry designs. The ease with which it can be manipulated using basic pliers or flush cutters is frequently mentioned, alongside its cost-effectiveness, with many noting the generous 1/4 pound spool providing excellent value for money. The anti-tarnish coating is particularly lauded, allowing crafters to maintain the wire’s shine and finish without the Constant need for expensive tarnish-prevention measures, such as anti-tarnish tabs. Crafters report satisfaction with the wire's performance in a variety of projects, from complex designs to simple wrap necklaces, and many indicate a strong likelihood of repurchasing. However, there are caveats noted by users; while this wire performs well, some mention that using untreated steel pliers may damage its coating, suggesting the use of nylon-tipped pliers for extensive manipulation. Additionally, experiences with colored variations, such as teal, have been less favorable, indicating inConsistencies in quality across product colors. Overall, the Artistic Wire 24-Gauge offers a dependable and aesthetically pleasing choice for both novice and experienced jewelry makers, with a proven track record of satisfaction. **
