The Vivid Storm Since 2004 Projector Screen is a motorized floor-rising projection screen that is suitable for use with projectors with a lumen rating of up to 2500 ANSI. The screen is made of ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) material, which provides clear projection image quality even in dim or dark conditions. The screen is housed in a black metal enclosure and has a gain of 0.8. In terms of quality, the ALR screen material is excellent and durable. It provides reasonably bright images with good contrast and saturation, even in a room with ambient light. The screen performs impressively in rendering vivid color pops, high saturation and contrast, and clear images, especially with 4K/8K content. However, some users may prefer a higher gain of 1.0 for brighter images. The floor-rising motor is quiet and reasonably fast, and the metal casing/enclosure is sturdy. The screen is flat with no wrinkles, although the vertical edges may initially curl up a bit. The screen comes with all the necessary accessories for installation, including screws, wall anchors, and sticky tapes for the IR transmitter for the remote.
