BikeMaster Switches Editorial Review
The BikeMaster KillHorn Button has garnered a mixed reception among customers, reflecting a range of experiences that highlight both its effective functionality and notable flaws. For some users, this product has successfully made their ATV street-legal by providing a straightforward solution for horn activation. They appreciated the simple wiring process and how well the button can be integrated into their vehicles for this purpose. The rubber seal on the button was also praised for its potential to keep moisture out, which adds a layer of durability for outdoor use. On the other hand, a significant number of customers expressed disappointment regarding the button's design and usability. Key concerns include the button's stiffness, requiring substantial force to activate—particularly problematic when wearing gloves. Some users deemed the product of poor quality, with flimsy wiring that doesn't inspire confidence. Additionally, the ambiguity surrounding its intended use is problematic; while some users sought a kill switch, they found the single-wire design unsuitable for horn functionality, which typically requires two wires. This has led to frustrations and even returns for those expecting a multi-functional application. Overall, the BikeMaster KillHorn Button has its strengths in basic functionality and mounting ease, yet it suffers from critical design oversights that hinder its performance, especially for users in need of a reliable horn switch. **
