This laser engraver is a great hobby tool that allows for precise and fun creations. The 10W and 20W can etch some metals with some dangerous cautionary remarks. From the FAQ, the machine comes with Laser box and it can engrave both 3mm birch or colored plexi sheets. The dimensions of the unit are about 24"x24". The machine is unable to mark glass on its own, to make designs on glass, one would have to apply paint. The customer service offered by xTool is excellent. In terms of reviews, customers are very satisfied with the tool and its delivery process, and assembly. They noticed high-quality parts with easy-to-use software. The device, however, had some cons including slight misframing of jobs, occasional software bugs especially on MacOs with the M1 chip, and no consistent way to engrave on glass. The price also seemed to be the main concern overall, with a feeling that this machine is way overpriced, and accessories are also expensive.
