The case comes with a textured matte design that provides adequate military-grade drop protection. It also features a shockproof bumper, a kickstand and slide, and an S Pen holder slot. There are a few disadvantages to this case, though. The stand, which is made of plastic and has little wings that make it stay in place when closed and locked open, breaks easily over time, which makes it stand up-right unsteadily or won't allow it to stay closed anymore. The screen protector could also scratch up easily, and some customers have had issues with the camera cover being loose and not staying closed, leading to concerns about camera lens protection. Overall, it provides basic protection, with a few additional features that make it a decent case, but there may be better options out there.
