The DURAMIC 3D PLA Plus Filament offers 1.75mm black filament with a 1kg cardboard spool. The filament is claimed to have eight times the strength of regular PLA, with 99% dimensional accuracy. However, for some customers, it took some experimentation to find the ideal temperature setting to print the filament, and using a raft was often the only solution to avoid warping. The color selection is currently limited, but the brand plans to offer more colors in the future. Some customers reported issues with knots and tangles in the spool that required unraveling before use. The filament produces a semi-mat/satin-like finish and does have a tendency to string slightly more than regular PLA.
