Looks like this would fit a roof with a 90 degree angle, but it would not sit flush at a greater angle, correct?
Answer: The bottom plates adjust inward a little bit. -

What roof pitch will this piece fit on? 5/12 or 6/12 or 4/12? Most roof pitches is not an answer.
Answer: We have a 4/12 pitch. There is a gap between the roof and the base. We placed on previous house for 10+ years with zero issues. We moved it to our current house where it has been placed for 2+ years and no issues. -
Question:
How can I reach someone about receiving a wrong item? I got 2 identical hinges base plates and can't assemble, I need the wide set one.
Answer: No the paint would peel and you would have to have an enormous aquarium -

Could this be used in an aquarium?
Answer: No, it's a large item that requires cement sealer before using it outside. -

Considering this. Quite a few mentions of aging & fading issues. Can this be coated with some sort of marine/weatherproof urethane or sealer?
Answer: I am sure that it could be done before putting it on your roof. I live in Oklahoma with a variety of weather. Mine needs some attention at the present time. I have noticed the finish is chipping! -

Is this secured in some fashion to the roof?
Answer: Yes, 4 - 2 1/4 inch screws can be installed through four prefinished holes. The screws were not included, and I would recommend using rubber grommets ahead of the screw before securing the dragon to the roof. -

What are the dimensions of the base front to back, please?
Answer: Sorry, I can't tell you exactly because it's on our roof, but it's smaller than a bread box and larger than a loaf of bread.
