It is worth noting that using a microSD card larger than 32GB may result in longer boot times, with a 20-second delay before being able to start recording. Using the internal storage reduces this boot time to just 4 seconds. For most users, an 8GB card should provide sufficient storage. The audio quality from the built-in microphones is surprisingly good, and attaching an external microphone further enhances the recording capabilities. This recorder is suitable for producing podcast-quality recordings, particularly in mp3 128 stereo mode. However, the built-in mics may not be of sufficient quality for recording a podcast, so an external mic is recommended. The recorder allows for seamless transfer of recordings from a cellphone, even though the quality may not be ideal when recording high-quality audio, such as music. Transferring conversations from cassette tapes, on the other hand, works excellently. Battery life is excellent, providing users with ample recording time.
