The assembly is straightforward and it includes a cooling fan. This product is designed with an SI3402 PoE controller for 48V. This product should be used with a passively vented or fan-equipped case. Unfortunately, this product has a high failure rate. Some customers have reported that the device is not compatible with Raspberry Pi CM4, it stopped working after 6 months, or it died after 9 months with a burnt smell.
