Does this paint have to be reduced to spray out of airbrush?
Answer: No, it can be sprayed as is, but if you want a high-quality paint job, it's good to reduce it a little. Candies always work better if reduced. Thin coats are best! -
Question:
How do you mix these paints?
Answer: Airbrush: Mix 4030 Balancing Clear or 4050 Gloss Clear, 10% per volume up to equal parts with candy2o. Spray-Gun: Mix 4050 Gloss Clear 6:1 candy2o, then thin, if necessary, 5% - 10% per volume with 4011 Reducer. -
Question:
Do you have to buy reducer to spray these?
Answer: Yes and no. It is way too thin for me. I have to add a medium and thin accordingly in order to spray correctly and adhere to my pieces. -
Question:
Can these be used on stainless steel & does it need to be primed first?
Answer: Yes, you can use them on stainless steel. As far as primer, I'm usually using these paints over a base coat and painting flames! -
