It works on Windows 10 and can be installed on low power embedded builds with freenas and rockstor. The adapter card is easy to install and comes with a bracket in case you need to install it into a full mini PCIe slot. The only concern is that if the motherboard has no protection under the port, it can cause a system shutdown due to a short. One customer had difficulty making it work on their system. The device does not support JBOD, and only supports RAID 0, 1, and span.
