- U-Boat Chimera Blu Limited Edition Automatic Stainless Steel Blue Dial Black Leather Strap Date Mens Watch Model# 9602This U-Boat Chimera Blu, its nickname alludes to its refined blue dial which presents new geometries and three-dimensionality. It is a limited edition of only 300 pieces. It features a sizeable 46 mm stainless steel case that holds a blue-painted striped metal dial with dual layers under a scratch-resistant optical sapphire crystal and is bordered on by a fixed bezel fastened with 5 screws. These specialized external screws with a custom head type hold together the bezel, carrure, and case back. It has silver-tone and perforated pencil hands, laser-cut counters, indices, and Arabic numerals at the 4, 8, and 12 o'clock positions as hour markers. This Destro (right-handed) gents' sports watch is also equipped with a lefty crown, highly distinctive with its canteen watch inspired crown protective cap with a crown release system pusher at the 10 o'clock position, a 3-day date aperture between the 9 and 10 o'clock positions, and a 24-hour indicator at the 4 o'clock position. On the right side of the case is a fixed plate with its limited edition number. It is fitted with a black leather strap and secured by a stainless steel signed buckle. This watch also features an exhibition case back showcasing a highly decorated ETA caliber 2824 Top Soigné, a Swiss automatic movement, elaborated and modified according to U-Boat specifications beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.Like all of our watches, this U-Boat Chimera Blu Limited Edition Automatic Stainless Steel Blue Dial Black Leather Strap Date Mens Watch is brand new and comes in its original packaging.A watch brand founded out of Italy's Tuscany region 23 years ago, U-Boat is a company based in a country villa within Gragnano's hills, a land of marvelous inspiration for founder, Italo Fontana.
