Narex Bevelled Chisel for Toothing 6.35 mm 14 Inch
The Narex Dovetail Chisel 6.35 mm 14 inch has garnered mixed reviews from users, with a spectrum of experiences that highlight both its strengths and weaknesses. On one hand, many customers appreciate its ease of sharpening and good cutting performance, making it a valuable tool for woodworkers. The chisel is reported to retain its edge well, suggesting that it provides solid performance for various tasks. Some users have even noted that the chisel arrives sharp and ready for use, which is a beneficial feature for those looking to start their projects immediately. Conversely, critical feedback focuses on design issues that inhibit its usability in certain scenarios. For instance, the thickness of the neck is cited as a significant drawback, preventing the chisel from reaching deeper, tight spaces that require greater finesse. Additionally, the dished-out back of the chisel has raised concerns about maintenance; if damaged, re-flattening can be cumbersome. While some users appreciate the aesthetic of the handle, others find it too chunky for a tool designed for precision. Overall, users seem divided, with some praising its value for money while others express dissatisfaction with its design flaws. For professional tradespeople, the limitations of this chisel may warrant Consideration of alternative brands better suited for deep-cut tasks. **
